Who you are dealing with
Dhansu is a trading name of one8nine. one8nine is a sole proprietorship at A house in Downtown Islamabad, Islamabad, Pakistan. "We" and "us" means that business, trading as Dhansu. "You" means the person who makes a reservation.
The service
Prepaid weekday lunches, cooked in a home kitchen each morning and delivered within our Islamabad delivery zones. One dish is cooked each day. The week's menu is published every Sunday and may change if an ingredient cannot be bought that morning; when it does, every household is told on WhatsApp.
Reserving
You reserve through this website by giving your details and choosing a plan for one to 6 people. A reservation becomes a confirmed seat when your payment is received and confirmed. Until then no lunch is cooked for you and no seat is held.
Prices and payment
Prices are in Pakistani rupees, per lunch, and are shown before you pay. Delivery is included. Payment is in advance for the whole block. Prices may change for future blocks; a block you have already paid for never changes price.
Capacity
The kitchen cooks for at most 40 lunches a day. When the seats are full you may join the list and we call in order when a seat opens. Money is only taken for a seat that exists.
Your side
- Give an accurate address and a mobile number that is on WhatsApp. That is how we reach you.
- Have someone available to receive the box within your delivery window, or tell us where to leave it.
- Skip a day by 10 pm the night before if you will not be there. See the delivery policy.
- Tell us about allergies before your first lunch.
Allergens and dietary needs
We cook in one home kitchen that uses nuts, dairy, wheat, eggs and other common allergens every day. We will tell you what is in a dish if you ask, and we will do what we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee that any lunch is free of an allergen. If an allergy is serious, please do not rely on us.

Our responsibility
We are responsible for cooking what we said we would, safely, and delivering it when we said we would. If we fail, our responsibility is limited to replacing the lunch or refunding what you paid for it. We are not responsible for a delay caused by something outside our control, such as a road closure or a city-wide shutdown, though we will always tell you and put the credit back.

Ending the service
You can stop at any time; the refund policy says what comes back to you. We can end a plan if payment is not made, if the address cannot be delivered to, or if the rider or kitchen is treated abusively. In that case every undelivered lunch is refunded.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute is first talked through with us directly; we would rather fix it than argue about it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes apply to blocks bought after the change, never to a block already paid for.
